Daniel “Dan” E. Luce, 67, is now with Jesus. He was a wonderful Christian husband of 42 years doing the best he knew, great father, good provider, sports lover, guitarist and singer, worker in church ministries and friend. He fought a good fight, He finished the race.
-Today heaven gains a faithful son. My daddy gets to sing and see our father’s face and ask all the questions he had on this earth. His body was most definitely tired and yet his spirit was strong. I will miss him and remember all the memories of a little girl with her daddy and sister, fishing, throwing a ball, working on our AWANA cars and just feeling how proud he was of me all along the way. Take care of my daddy dear Jesus until we meet again.
-Last night my father went to be with the Lord. I know that he is finally without pain. He was a great father who showed what a servant leader is, supporting us in everything we did. I am only who I am today because of the example he set and the unyielding support he gave for my work.
He is survived by his wife Janice Luce, 2 daughters Tabitha Osman and Rachel Luce. 1 grandson Micah Osman. A brother Don Luce and wife Wendy and a sister Deborah Luce. Several foster children and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Dan will be held 2:00-4:00p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the home of Dan and Janice, 1578 Angela Court, Lincolnton, NC.
