Ricky Dale Crocker "Showtime", age 49, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2018. Ricky was born January 25,1969 in Greenville, SC to Bobby Neil Crocker and Nancy Lee Green-Troublefield. Ricky was always quick with a smile and joke, touching many lives around him. Ricky enjoyed cooking, playing the guitar, and riding his motorcycle. Most of all, Ricky loved helping others; through his guiding and enduring faith in God which gave him strength. From the love of helping others, he founded a group called "Real Talk in Recovery" for recovering and recovered addicts. His daily words of encouragement could be seen and felt by thousands. Bringing love to all with his most well-known quote
"If no one told you they loved you today, I just did." He most certainly meant it, Ricky lived his life to the fullest. He is loved by so many and will be missed. Ricky is survived by his son Derrick Neil Crocker, his twin sister Vicky Crocker, niece and nephew Tiffanie Weant and Jordan Crocker, his sister Rhonda Williams (Dale Williams) and nieces Ashley Humphries, Mandy Volquez and Haley Williams. Ricky will be joining his mother Nancy Green-Troublefield, father Bobby Crocker, brother David Crocker, and dear friend Scott Rushing. Rest in peace, you are home now.
A memorial service in memory of Ricky will be held on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 at 2:00 pm, at Cornerstone Family Worship, 709 Rankin Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120, with Pastor Kevin McClure officiating. Jeffrey S. Painter Funeral Director Licensee is serving the Crocker family. www.jeffreyspainterfdl.com
